My name is Deepak and I am from East Palo Alto, California. I attended UC Berkeley for my Bachelor of Science in Physiology, and The School of Medicine Arizona for my Doctorate in Medicine.

Currently, I am a Family Medicine Resident Physician at UC Davis/David Grant Medical Center in Northern California.

I love reading, mechanical things, and the endless rush of learning at the intersection of medicine, families, and education.

I can’t wait to share our enthusiasm and tools for modern learning with your students!

Ehm Academy is where we share our passion for

connecting, learning, and growing with our students and their families.

Learning in 2024 is MUCH different than even 10 years ago so our young and experienced team has mastered the new tools and resources to help students excel in modern education!

In our journey, we’ve had a healthy share of bad teachers, unfair grading, and plenty of incredible tutors who have helped us excel academically.

Personally, without my tutors, I would not be a doctor today.

To give back, I began tutoring over 12 years ago and my team and I continue to find great joy in guiding our student to build systems that will nurture their own goals.

Meet the Team

I'm Melinda, and I graduated from the University of Illinois with an English degree. Whenever I have free time, I enjoy drawing, traveling, and watching movies. Teaching is something I'm really passionate about because it allows me to encourage creativity and make a real difference in students' learning experiences.

Hello! My name is Gian, and I hold a physics engineering degree from the University of Illinois. In my free time, you can find me playing piano or reading a book. I enjoy teaching because there is nothing more rewarding than watching a student progress in a difficult curriculum. I believe that if an individual learning style is understood, anything can be taught to anyone.

Before coming to Ehm Academy, I worked as a writing tutor for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, volunteered at the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club, and taught in high school English classes. I earned my degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education at UIUC. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy watching all different types of TV shows, reading thrillers, and coaching the boxing club on my campus."

Hello, my name is Susana Cacho Lopez and I graduated from Williams College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science. I have a passion for Spanish literature and helping students also fall in love with the language. During my free time, you can find me traveling, going on long walks or watching movies.

I sincerely appreciate the hard work you & XXX are doing to help keep YYY on track with the class. This is a big reason for YYY getting a good score on her exams.

It’s not only the result that matters, the process of learning, keeping on improving, and the effort you put on, is what I sincerely appreciate the most. -MB
